Ban doc who molested from medical practice

I REFER to the report 'Doc molested me, claims clinic assistant' (The Star, June 18).
This shows that molesters can be anyone from all walks of life rather than the stereotypical old man in a trench coat lurking in the corners of the park. The doctor who molested the clinic assistant not only deserves not to be called a doctor but should also be officially barred from practicing. I believe he is not the first nor will he be last medical professional who is giving medical practice a bad name. There are some cases, of which a few have gone unreported, of doctors and other medical professionals including dentists who molest or sexually harm clinic assistants. Kudos to the clinic assistant who came forward to not just save herself but also stop this man from trying to hurting others in the future.
